Chapter 16

Thanks to Ethan and Draven helping me get all the groceries into the house I wasn't tired and best of all it had been faster than when Draven and I had done it with the cart by the car, while Draven was bringing the last remaining bag Ethan finished putting the one he carried on the floor, I walked outside when I saw the man reaching for his cell phone in his pocket, I hurried to help him with the bag he carried.

- I'll take it. - He stubbornly held the bag in one hand.

- Give it to me, you seem busy today, I'm embarrassed enough that you made him help me. - I finally managed to grab the last bag from his hand.

- Then I'll say goodbye from here, I really need to get back to the studio, don't forget we're going to schedule that walk. - I nodded and waved my free arm to say goodbye to the man who was already starting the car and leaving the front of my house.

As the car disappeared from my eyes, I turned back around and got a huge fright as I slammed into Ethan's chest.
