CHAPTER 45

Blair tried to hide it but she felt low. She knew he stayed back home because of her. There was no begging or asking him to stay, he had to work. And she wouldn't keep him here just because she didn't want to be alone.

"Okay. It's fine, I hope you sort things out at the company." She said to him, she tried to fake a smile so he wouldn't feel a certain way.

"Are you sure? Would you be able to take care of yourself alone?" He asked.

"Sure, why not? I'm okay." She assured him.

Blair wasn't sure if she was okay but she knew that asking him to stay or begging him to stay was wrong.

"I'm sorry that I have to go. We didn't plan any of it until this afternoon. I didn't know I was going on a colleague texted me. I'm sorry Blair." He apologized.

"There's no need to apologise beside you have to work and can not keep you from that. I'm sorry if you felt burdened by me all this while." She responded and apologized.
