I raced towards Jennifer just like everyone as she stumbled backwards. She raised up a hand to stop her Mom and Dad from going near her. But thankfully I reached her before she could fall.

I looked down at her swinging figure in my arms, only to find her unconscious. Panicked rushed through everyone as they gathered around her with concern.

“ Jennifer!” I called out, stroking her cheek with my palm.

“ What happened to her?” Her Mom reached quickly as her hand grabbed Jennifer's hand in a tight concerned hold.

“ I guess, She's shocked. Let's take her to the room. Alex, Call the doctor.” I said, picking her up in my arms and headed toward the room, walking past a shocked figure of her dad, he was standing stuck in one place, immovable.

I quickly laid her on her bed and made her position comfortable, before removing her sneakers. I sat down on the bed beside her and reached up to hold her hand with my quickened up heartbeats. It was really difficult to watch her laying l
