VERONICA’S POV

“He was just sitting right here a moment ago...where could he have gone to?” I said as Ms Patricia and I started to search around for Lawrence. A thought of how serious he had looked as he fiddled with his phone earlier on flashed in my head. Could it be something serious had happened?

“Don’t panic ma’am, we will find your husband, I promise. He probably left on his own...This place is well secured.”

“Of course, we will find him...” I muttered as my eyes strayed all over the place. Ms Patricia had made the dance and the show to pause as we secretly searched for Lawrence.

“You, go this way...you...this way and you that way...keep it discreet for now.” She ordered the staff as they all went different locations in search of Lawrence.

I too looked in a few places. After several minutes of searching, there still wasn’t any trace of him.
