“Good morning princess” I smiled putting my arms either side of Kiara’s head, I had been awake for almost an hour, but since we had slept late and Kiara had fallen asleep being worried and stressed because of her father, I let her sleep in while I finished some work I had to get done.

“Morning” Kiara smiled opening her eyes, she looked at me to find me leaning in over her, slowly kissing her cheeks, forehead, and finally her lips making her smile.

“How’d you sleep?” I asked softly, she rubbed her sleepy eyes and sat up, exhaustion was drawn all over her features, I had to admit that I didn’t like seeing what I was, but I couldn’t do anything about it right now, I knew the reason and I couldn’t blame her for it. I distracted her for now, but it was a mere for now thing, she would end up thinking of the safety of her mother the minute she was alone, it was only normal that she did.
