David held his mother's hands, and helped her out of the car. He had called Jessie to informed her they will be coming over during the day time for dinner.

Lydia came back home earlier than expected and met David at home. She had to leave the family house because her Father in-law had to go to the company because of the ruckus her husband caused, he went in place of John since he didn't show up.

His phone kept ringing, but no one answered. She had to urged David to call Jessie that they will be coming over to her house, instead of spending the day at home.

David objects at first, but gave in, after his mother cajoled him. And here they're at Warren's house.

They stride towards the entrance, having less important conversation, when Jessie sighted them, and quicken her step to welcome them.
