Shedrack gaze at his father, waiting for him to speak up. After having a rough day at work, he came back home and met his father smoking again. Mr Robert ignored his gaze, poured himself a glass of wine, and took a sip from it.

"You have to calm down, I Know I promise to quit smoking, but that's because you asked me to, I never planned to, not anytime soon." Mr Robert said.

"If I had not defended you last time, mum would have suspected you, don't you know that? And here you're smoking in the house because they're not around."

"You're exaggerating, regardless of you defending me or not, your mother would still believe I never smoked."

"Father, you have to be meticulous, you promised to do so, and you have to keep to your promise." Shedrack breath out, stood up and left his study.
