Iris:

I paced around the bedroom as my mind went wild.

The vision that I saw in that garden played again and again in my head, reminding me of past events that I fought hard not to remember.

I could feel Ezio’s wolf tensing, going wild, as he felt my worry. But I couldn’t calm down no matter how hard I tried.

I sat on the edge of the bed, running my fingers through my hair as my leg shook in anticipation. The Alpha who killed an innocent woman for defending her son, sat in the dining room beside his daughter, feeding her while he waited for her maid to come.

I shook my head as I pulled on the roots of my hair, reminding myself of the cold man who once killed a whole pack for simply taking charge of being Alpha. The man proved to his pack that he was worth being Alpha because he killed my pack, my family.
