SADIE.

Death is not feared until it is too close and one realizes death is indeed one to be feared. My life flashed before my eyes, while I was in a coma and the fact that my swollen face disappeared so fast remains a mystery to me. The only evidence I have to show for the hit is the slight bruise on my cheekbone. The bruise is also healing too fast. Normally, I sustained such bruise for about two weeks before it begins to fade off in the third week.

My reflection on my father’s desk shows the healing is still ongoing.

“Tell me what happened during your first encounter and even this last.” My father requests.

“I will but first you and Aunt Kitra were going to tell me what happened to my mother.” I say as my gaze keeps shifting between the both of them.

“No long talks. There are picture evidences. I show you together with her doctor’s report and you will go back tonight to complete the task. No one soils the name and abilities of my organization, you hear me?” My father’s latter words
