A little silence filled the room for a few seconds before I had gathered enough words to say to him.
"Wait what?....no I can't ", I say and this time I carefully place my coffee mug that is now a little bit cold since I barely had a sip of it.

Sunday went by so fast and Eliz finally came back. She filled me in about her amazing weekend with her significant other. She kept filling me in but somethimes and had to call me when I'd get lost in my thoughts. She had commented that I was becoming paler, and she was right.
