Everything seemed weird. The way I breathed, the way she sat next to me with a downcast gaze and hands in between her laps and even the way I forcefully turned the steering wheel to the right wasn't normal.

Disappointment sat heavily on me like a grand piano. It weighed me down and I could have sworn I was slouched behind the wheel of my car.
