Frier’s POV

There wasn’t a need to guess Lucious next move. Any man would’ve been triggered to leave a punch in Nicklaus's face and Lucious wasn’t an exception. The two men were having it with each other and I took the opportunity to get off the desk and arrange my appearance. Like I said before, I don’t care if they tear themselves to shreds. It’ll only be to my advantage so I planned to slip out in the ruckus but my plans were brought to a halt when my ears picked up a set of baffling information!

“Arya died with your child! You deserve to be consumed with guilt for the rest of your life! Don’t even think of happiness!”

Lucious raging voice stopped my motion. I was almost at the door but I couldn’t bring my legs to keep walking.
