Chapter seventy nine: I’ll gladly accept it

Immediately the car halted, the door slam shut. Bella bolted out and as you’ve guessed Klaus followed behind. Luckily the open space was secluded and open at the same time. It was near the beach so the sounds of trees wailing at the breeze seemed to soothe Bella’s throbbing heart a bit.

“Am I asking for too much?” She turned to face the man trailing behind her. She didn’t care that her legs could barely hold her.

When else can she have such conversations? If not for the influence of alcohol all her rage would’ve remained bottled in.

“Yes” he breathed and her eyes flashed a series of sadness while her hands moved to tuck her hair in frustration.

“I can’t even have my freedom” she scoffed as her red eyes seemed to have reddened. “Am I destined to be trapped like a rat in a cage?” She added with a sniff.

“I can’t let you go, Bella. So please let’s work this out”

His words seemed to fall on deaf ears as Bella kept grinning like a goof. Each stretch of her lips held a sad ending. B
