Chapter sixty: Be good, Kitty

Arya’s POV

“I can’t just leave him like this”

I don’t know where on earth I found this boldness but it was gone as soon as the words left my mouth.

Untold terror filled Nicklaus gaze and a wave of dread flew down my spine.

I bit inside my cheeks in regret as a sinking feeling enveloped my being.

‘Seems I keep making things worse. For a second I forgot how overbearing Nicklaus can be’ I breathed dejectedly.

And in the twinkle of an eye Nick bundled my figure above his left shoulder, tossing my frame momentarily in the air. His movements scaring the living daylight outta me and undeniably placing me in a ridiculous position.

My legs wiggled in the air but he couldn’t bring himself to care.

He turned and approached the exit while I actively tried punching holes in his back abs while I screamed and yelled to be put down but I soon realized it was useless. For Christ sake! I couldn’t even see clearly, my hair was hanging above my face from being turned upside down.
