I wasn't exactly asleep when Avalon sneaked out of the house earlier but I let her go because I wanted to follow her knowing fully well, she was headed someplace and I felt the need to know where.
I didn't follow her out here because I didn't trust her. I have been having this nagging feeling in my chest that I couldn't quite shake off even if I tried and now i know why.
Avalon has been sneaking out to have secret meeting with her mother. Which is not supposed to bother me in the slightest but the manner at which she did it, is enough for me to think, it's something else especially after what happened earlier today.
"Yes please, tell us why you kept lying because I also want to know why" I said through gritted teeth, anger starting to sip through my veins and poisoning my thought as I stare at the woman I had seen as a mother figure for almost eleven years of my life now.

Logan's POV*"And my mother?" I heard her voice demanding an answer I knew I don't have yet. I could already sense and smell her fear as though there were my very own. Avalon has been through so much these past few days that I doubt she would react well to anything I have to tell her at this point."Did you find my mother or she is_she is death?"
