It's been an hour already since Logan sent me back with his Beta Judah and he is yet to come back with any news about my mother or if he was even okay himself. The more I just wait around, the more desperate and nervous I become just thinking the very worst of the situation.
Even though Logan had assured me, he will get my mother back safe and sound, I can't help but feel like he was just saying it to keep me calm. I bet, whoever took her already knows about me and probably waiting to make demands in exchange for her.

Logan's POV*"And my mother?" I heard her voice demanding an answer I knew I don't have yet. I could already sense and smell her fear as though there were my very own.
