I don't know how long i was passed out but when i eventually woke up, I found myself restrained and tied to a chair. The awful pain in my head had subsided a bit. I took a deep breath to calm myself down, my eyes darting around in panic and realizing am still in the rogue leader's room.
I tried to pull at the robes containing me but stopped when I heard a voice from the corner of the room. The rogue leader was seated by the corner and watching me, his steel green eyes cold and glaring at my direction.
After my assassination attempt earlier, I'm surprised to see he is still not surrounded by his guarding lycans and snarling at me by now. Well, I guess this fight is strictly between him and me huh? But how do I beat him if am all tied up unless he wants to murder me like he did my parent.

Ava's POV*I went to sleep that night but couldn't sleep. I felt more restless than at peace.
