[43] Denial

Kaya’s POV

I slowly opened my eyes, trying in vain to adjust to the sunlight rays before giving up the fight and yawning. Curling up further into bed despite it being already morning I felt a strange feeling of warmth and satisfaction tickling my back like I had the best night sleep one could ever have. I opened my eyes at this thought wider as it settled on me why I was feeling like this. It was because I dreamt of him.  I shut my eyes furrowing back into the warmth trying to somehow clear my head but after another ten minutes of failed attempts, I decided to wake up.

Today felt like such a beautiful day and I didn’t want to waste it. I had awoken with a new appreciation of life in the rawest form, actually amazed I was blessed enough to breathe. Yes, I was extremely happy and light for some reason. My body felt as light as a feather and so-so relaxed. I breathed out, sitting up in bed stretching. My body felt like it had
