Bond cleavage, an act that has been banned for centuries, was used in the ancient period to separate mated criminals as punishment for heinous crimes, but it was too brutal and was banned by the council.

The wolves who underwent the process would go into insanity and experience so much pain that some of them would lose their wolves, and everything would always end with the victim committing suicide.
