Chapter Twenty: Weakness

I woke up this morning, but I still can't get out of bed. I have a headache and it makes me dizzy. I touched my neck and noticed that my body was warm. I feel like I have a fever. I also noticed that my eyes seemed to swell from crying because of what happened last night. I can’t help but remember that and I’m sad that Freeda is gone.

''Enzo..are you awake now,'' I heard Magnus knocking on the door. I didn't get up and lay down and cried again. In the three months that I have been with Freeda, I have become attached to her, I already treat her like a sister.
