Ashley's POV

Shawn jumped down from the horse and rushed towards the dead man. He examined his wound and stared at me looking at my clean dagger.

"You didn't kill him, did you?Your dagger is clean and the cut was made by a sword," Shawn said looking around.

"Someone who is invisible did. I think I have a guardian angel," I said looking around.

"What are you talking about!" Shawn yelled and threw my sword at m as he charged around.

"I mean it! He was slashed in front of me and I didn't see the person who did it, but I felt a strange presence," I responded and charged into the bush, behind Shawn.

"Can you still feel the presence?"

Shawn heaved a sigh and kept his sword behind him.

Let's check our man if we can detect the person that sent him after you.
