Adrian's POV

I had never seen the Prince so frustrated and anxious. Yes, he was sad when everything we had built for years went into flames, but he wasn't anxious. I couldn't believe he was anxious over a woman. She was nothing but a cursed slave! If she dies no one cares!

The Prince was bitter with himself as he asked questions about his wolf and how to control it.

There was no formula for it. His wolf had harboured resentments for years and it just came out. It could be the reason why he was enraged and went haywire.

Although it might not be the case for everyone. Some attained their wolves at the right time and they still have it wrong at their first shift.
