Chapter 139

Ashley's POV

I got back to the palace safely, but my confidence jumped out of the window when I got in.

Prince Regan was waiting in my room. He was sitting in his wheelchair and our eyes met as I walked in.

His eyes were blood red but I looked away and bowed my head in greetings.

Without saying a word, I changed into my lingerie and threw myself on the bed.

The corners of his lips quaked like he wanted to blast me but he didn't say a word. He just rode out of my room and I felt at peace.

I heaved a sigh of relief after he had left. I was so scared when he was around, I was just trying to act normal around him. The look in his eyes was so scary, I knew I had pushed him to the edge of the cliff.

My sins were countless. After I was almost killed the previous night, I had a clash with Prince Adams and Prince Asher was the one who helped me. And now, I just made him angry by going out and putting myself at risk.

I smirked as I remembered what was going to happen at the meeting tomorrow. H
