Regan's POV

Maximus galloped down the uneven terrain and in no time we were facing the palace.

"Whao!" I yelled, pulling the bridle. We were at the grazing range from where Adrian usually takes charge, it was just a few meters away from the palace.

At my command, Maximus receded and came to a halt.

Mounting down, I fixed his reins and patted his mane, reassuring him that Adrian would come for him.
