Ashley's POVIt was a new day and I woke up with mixed feelings. I didn't even know how and when I fell asleep last night.Although I was happy that I could shift again, my heart was heavy and filled with dread. Maya’s POV, My feet wobbled as I trudged back to my chambers. I couldn't use the horse, the brutal scenario I’d witnessed at the Dowager's weakened me to my bones. I knew the Dowager was vile but I never really knew to what degree! In as much as I hated being a failure, I wouldn’t want to go through such horrific torture. Regan’s POV A lot ran through my mind as my guard wheeled me back to my chambers. "Take me down to my bedroom," I said in a whisper. Gently, he wheeled me through the corridors until we were standing in front of my bedroom. He opened the door and pushed me in. He rounded up and stood before me, bowing his head. "Get my clutches, they are in my study," I said to him and he left. When he returned he helped me get on the crutches and I limped towards my bed. "You can leave," I said as I sat on the bed. He bowed again and took his leave. As soon as he had left, I jumped to my feet and walked towards the window. My clutches right by my sides ready to be used in case of emergencies. My grip on the window tightened as I bared my teeth to the full moonlight and stars alluring the dark sky. The moon goddess had blessed the night with sufficient breeze yet my skin felt so hot. I was really disturbed. Who the heck was at the grazing range? It was a woman's form and she was invisible.
