Regan’s POV

I gnashed my teeth as I increased the speed of my wheel. It was clear enough that I was useless. I couldn't defend myself or my people. Yes, this isn't me but what is the essence of the prominence held in obscurity?

By the time I arrived at my chambers, my vision was red. All the guards knew better than to fly out my way.

"Roy! Fetch Tega's body. It's along the lawns that lead to the courtroom. Be careful not to get caught," I ordered one of my guards.

"Tega's body? Yes… Yes, My Prince…" he stuttered, widening his eyes.

I rode on at a dangerous speed and it was a miracle that I did not fall off the wheelchair.

The first place my eyes caught was the racks of alcohol in my living room. I was going crazy and I needed and I needed whatever would dull my pain.

Driving towards the towering racks of alcohol, I tried grabbing a bottle but it suddenly became a struggle since my hands couldn’t reach it and while I was at it, a hand came from nowhere to take it out.
