Chapter 55

Ashley's POV

"You know the rules, ensure to keep them," Sherif our platoon captain gritted as he gave a bunch of keys to Allen.

Although we started together and he is our captain. He turned out to be the worst asshole in the army. He gave me a serious hard time before I leveled up, but now, he knew his boundaries. In short, no one borders me again.

Allen collected the keys and we walked out of his sight. It was the night I dared most. It was a wolf training night. Usually we all come out in our numbers. We shift into our wolves and train, either individually or in groups.

It was the night of the full moon, as typical of every wolf training night. The moon was shining brightly and it led us to our destination.

"It is going to be freezing cold tonight," Allen said.

"Huh… how did you know, you are not always right about the weather," I joked.

"I am pretty right tonight," he mumbled looking into the dark sky.

I chuckled wondering if he could see anything in the dark sky.
