Chapter 59

Ashely's POV

Dread filled my heart and I couldn't sleep all through the night. My heart ranged on different things that Prince Regan could do to me. I had broken the law.

As Dawn drew nearer my fear spiked up. I could hardly walk out of my bed. When I finally did, I found my way to the bathroom to get myself prepared.

I peeped out of the dorm at about seven a.m. My heart skipped a beat as I sighted the royal carriage. Other soldiers admired it as they passed by but to me, it was my doom.

I put on my uniform and I was ready to leave. I was just at the entrance when Mr Park accosted me. He had a soldier with him. The soldier handed a bag to me and Mr Park shook his head as he walked away.

I checked the package and I realized that it was a piece of cloth. He wanted me to change out of my uniform.
