Ashley's POV

My abductor rode the horse like a maniac. It skidded the uneven terrain at a mad speed, making me hold my breath.

Even with the cover around my head, I knew that we were in the woods. I had become familiar with the smell of the woods.

The horse came to an abrupt stop and I was bundled down the horse. Without as much as a protest, I followed my abductor as he pulled me along.

Human voices became audible from a distance and suddenly the whole place began to feel familiar.

It felt like I had been here before and despite the covering over my head, I felt I could find my way.

"The Strikers Sect! Those bastards!" I gritted as realization dawned on me.

I was led into the and the noise ceased immediately. My abductor kicked my legs making me fall on my knees. The plastic bag on my head was removed and I blinked my eyes as I tried to adjust to light.

"Oh… you left my eyes open, I can see everyone now, aren't you afraid that I will snitch on you?" I mocked them as I looked around.
