Adrian's POV

My next stop was the secret meeting place. I couldn't play dumb after what I had witnessed at the Prince's place. I still haven't found any clue as to why the Dowager visited.

I had to ascertain that our meeting place was safe. Otherwise, meetings would have to be on hold until I figured out what was happening. But considering the times, we were in a crucial moment and such a break would hinder all our ongoing plans, there was no time to waste.

Landing in front of the thatched house that I had erected around the area. I cracked the door open and walked in to fix a few things.

After I had settled in, I walked out, taking a stroll around and checking out the whole area.

I was behind the cave where we used to have our meetings when the smell of smoked meat wafted into my nose.
