Chapter 86

Ashley's POV

We galloped into the wild and there was no stop until we got back to our base. One thing I noticed on the way was that there were no traces of those who had gone before us.

We dismounted from the horse and I burst into the cave. I was surprised to see that everyone was still seated. It was past Dawn and the day's meeting ought to have been brought to a close.

Apart from that, there was a more pressing issue. I haven't seen the men who brought the weapons and the weapons too.

Looking around in apprehension, I scanned the crowd and thundered, "Where are the goods? Where are Jim and Eden?"
