Regan's POV

I was still on my knees surrounded by beastly looking men who were ready to strike me down when one of them decided to bring up the group's leader.

Adrian had advised me to seek out the Strikers Sect and make a collaboration with them. Since the three wise men were gone and with the Dowager's suspicion, he felt that it was not safe for me to stand on my own.

I was reluctant at first, but he did all the findings about the sect and within a week he had gotten Intel information about them, even their secret hideout and all.

He had obliged to make an appearance at their hideout, but I decided to go see for myself. I need to see for myself to be sure that they are capable of taking up my course.

I had my face hidden behind a mask and I was walking on my two legs. Without stripping me down, no one could ever know that it was me. I also had my identity ready. I would introduce myself as my shadow guard.
