Eleanor's p.o.v

"Here we are." Ducan whispered softly once we were at the palace entrance.

"Aren't you going in with me?" I asked dumbly.

"No. If the demon lord Sees me with you there is no telling what he would do to me." He answered then took a few steps back.

I quickly turned and grabbed his hand.

"When can I see you again?" I asked seriously.

"Soon, just try not to run away again." He whispered then disappeared before I could say another word.

I was startled by his disappearance but then again I remembered that he was a half demon so he had powers as well.

I took in a deep breath and released it then walked past the entrance and kept on walking ahead.

I had no idea where I was going because when I was running for my escape I paid no attention to the way or passages.
