Chapter 19

Ducan's p.o.v

I watched sadly as she wrapped her arms around her legs leaning against the wall with her gaze fixed to the floor.

A few hours had gone by in silence but she was still sobbing and trying so hard not to make a sound.

I wanted to ignore her but sadly I couldn't. My heart was aching over seeing her this sad and my hands were itching to touch her. I couldn't understand why I felt that way.

What exactly was I to do if she didn't even want me close?.

I stood up from the bed and moved closer to her.

She quickly buried her face in her lap as her sobs got loud.

I touched her head gently releasing my magic.

"Sleep." I whispered softly as her sobs stopped and her breathing stabilized.

I carefully moved and lifted her in my arms.

Her face was wet and her eyes were slightly sore.

I moved her to the bed and carefully put her down to rest while I sat at the edge next to her.

"Serve me." I whispered as the twin fairies appeared.
