I was in shock as I walked through the passage without chains on my wrist.

I looked at the twin demon fairies and then focused ahead.

I had chased them away when I asked them not to watch me as I ate, that's what I thought. When they came back I was surprised.

"Did you forget something?" That's what I asked them once they were in front of me.

They silently removed my chains with their magic and asked me to follow them.

My heart was rapidly beating, but I wasn't scared of them at all because if I was going to be killed, they didn't need to get rid of my chains. They were either taking me to face the demon king to answer for what I had done to one of his warriors, or they were taking me amid the generals or council if they had any, so I could be given proper punishment.
