Zara's p.o.v

"Take me to my sister, please," I begged the demon fairies.

"No." They answered together.

They sat on the sofa with Victor between them. I didn't understand how he could be so comfortable around them when all they were doing was staring at him.

"Victor, may I have a word with you?" I asked softly.

He looked at me for a second then averted his eyes.

"Please," I whispered.

He looked at me seriously and then stood up.

"He can't be trusted." One of the demon fairies said in a low tone.

"I know Arch, but I can tell when he's being sincere or not." He answered and then walked past me.

I stood up and followed him into the pool room.

"What do you want Zara?" He asked coldly.

I went down on my knees and waited for him to turn and look at me.

"Why aren't you answering me?" He asked loudly then turned and faced me.
