Cassy POV
The following morning, Caleb, as usual, arrived just when the children and I were going down for breakfast.
The kids screeched to a halt when he got inside, arms loaded with an elegant flower arrangement.
I don’t want to assume things, but my heart leaped and started hammering on my chest at the sight of the romantic blooms.
My inner voice warned me to be cautious, and of course, I did not want to assume just like before, but my heart failed me again. It could not help from beating wildly in my chest.
