CHAPTER 48: TRUST ME LOVE

The custom ringtone of Jason's phone disrupted his sleep. He strained his eyes and massaged his head, searching for his phone blindly with his hand.

He located it and leveled it to his face, the caller ID had him jumped up from the bed. Dragging the duvet over his body, he covered his birthday suit and rubbed his eye to get a clear view of the caller.

"Morning dad," he answered into the phone, his hoarse sleepy voice instead of the normal voice. "Isn't it weird to be calling me this early?"

"It's 9am Jason and I have every right to call you whenever I want," Jackson said.

"If you keep up with this attitude, you will die a lonely man," he fired back. "What can I do for you?"

"We need to see and talk. When will you be free?"

He dropped his phone and placed the call on speaker. Switching between the apps, he navigated his way to the calendar trying to check for a free day.

"Tomorrow, 12pm. Is that fine with you?"
