Chapter 25

Emily walked into the large kitchen and looked around in amazement as her jaws dropped in awe.

Her hands trailed on the countertops as she tried to wonder how a kitchen could be so large and beautiful.

The kitchen had light-brown cabinets, with two massive doors. These cabinets had different plates of various sizes and designs, large bowls, different types of teas and cereals at another end.

The large white refrigerator stood at the far end of the kitchen, close to the dining section that was made with marbles and fine stones.

She gulped down hard as she tried to think of how excited she would be if she eventually owns a home as this.

She settled to prepare dinner of mashed potatoes and meat loaf.

Somehow, she was grounded in cooking as she always stayed with her mother in the kitchen whenever she was back home from school.

A wide smile spread across her lips when she saw the refrigerator, which was stocked up with anything one might need in the kitchen.

She sliced the tomatoes as sh
