Chapter 62

Emily’s eyes popped out of her socket the moment she caught sight of Barbara, who was impudent and bold in her current act.

Her grip was tightened to the man and as they kissed each other, her eyes sparkled with excitement and satisfaction.

Emily gulped down hard and darted her eyes to Richard, whose head was lowered to the floor.

He stayed still, unable to react or utter a word. It wasn’t a new act anymore and at this point, he was used to it.

“You see that?” He finally asked as he lifted his head to meet Emily’s surprised eyes.

“That cannot be repaired. Nothing between Barbara and I can be repaired anymore”, Richard said with a scoff, after which he took in a deep breath and narrowed his gaze towards the window.
