“Thank God you did, I was going to eat my leftover sandwich before I went home. I am so hungry,”

She said and filled her mouth with food again. there was silence in the room, she looked to see that he wasn’t eating.

“Are you not going to eat?”

She asked.

“That’s not for me, I just got it in case there was someone else here.”

By someone, he meant Ella, the new secretary that she had found crying when she came to collect her passport the day that she got her job back. She was a good girl and a fast learner. If she didn’t have a date, she would probably have been here with Dani.

“Oh, I can keep it in the refrigerator and she can microwave and eat when she wants,”

Dani said. She finished eating and wiped her mouth. All the while being conscious of the fact that Luciano was in the room and was watching her.
