Chapter 58. The Third Day After the Full Moon

Ryn wrote something down on paper. She folded it neatly and called Maina.

"Take this to Darla's room," Ryn ordered.

Maina accepted the paper and said, "Yes, Miss."

"And don't you dare to open it! Do you understand?" Ryn said so in a warning tone.

"I understand," Maina replied.

Ryn leaned against the door frame with her arms crossed. A faint smile was etched on her lips, and her eyes looked at the maid's retreat. Ryn kept her promise to Darla. This time, she was more prepared to fight with the woman. Ryn wanted to prove that Darla's victory in the previous fight was just a fluke.

"See you there, Darla," Ryn said in a low voice.

In addition to making up for her defeat, Ryn also wanted to prove to Darla that what she had said about the mark was unproven. Ryn believed in Albert. She would no longer listen to Darla's nonsense.
