Chapter 81. The Blue Longing

Ryn yearned to return to the apartment, while Lance was interested in the file on Drake's desk. The girl closed the door after Lance disappeared behind the elevator doors. She turned around and leaned against the door while touching her chest. Ryn's eyes were closed tightly against the suffocating sadness. The sense of loss tucked into every breath made Ryn feel tormented.

Ryn missed Albert.

If only she could, Ryn wanted to kill that feeling. However, the longing became even more agonizing every time she tried to push it away from her chest. There was a pain she did not understand when she was away from the Alpha.

"Is this called a mate bond? Why can't I push this feeling away? Why do I always want to go back to him? I hate him. God! I hate him." Ryn pressed harder and harder against his chest.
