Chapter 99. Santiago's Residence

Waiting for almost twenty minutes, Judith finally saw Drake's car enter the gate. Sitting with Gus, Judith got up quickly, welcoming Drake's arrival. Judith approached him without waiting for him to get out of the car.

"You don't have to do all this. I can do it myself," Judith said once Drake's windshield was lowered, allowing the driver's face to come into view.

"And put you in danger? That's not going to happen, Judith!" Drake retorted.

Judith rolled her eyeballs with a disgusted expression.
