Chapter Thirty-Seven

Luck was truly not on Seb’s side as after they spent the whole day working and were ready to head to their hotel rooms for the night, two announcements were made.

One, they were going to be sleeping in tents and not in hotel rooms.

And two, their tent mates were already chosen randomly.

“Sebastian?”

Seb shifted his gaze from his phone to meet the dude from their last time at the volunteering walking up to him. “George?”

“Yeah, it’s you,” George laughed lightly as he approached Seb. “Look at that. We’re roommates.”

Seb couldn’t even bring himself to fake being enthusiastic. “You mean, tent mates.”

“Yeah, it’s all the same,” George replied. “I wasn’t expecting to see you here again. How about Alex? Is he here too?”

“Yeah, he is,” Seb drawled as they began walking. “I wanted us to be roommates but oh well.”

“Aw, man look at this from the brighter side,” George pat him lightly. “Distance makes the heart fonder, they say. The both of you being apart this time could be for the best
