CHAPTER 61 - FEW MONTHS BEFORE FREEDOM

When the heat subsided, Kara's breathing returned to normal.  It was then that reason slowly set in.   

Kara lay straight on her back, her feet propped up on the bed with her knees raised. Her hands laced and placed over her tummy. 

“I have to go back home,” she told him, her eyes fixed on the ceiling. 

For a moment, she let her body wallow in her desire for the man.  But that was madness. She had to stay away from him. That is the plan. That is what she must do. 

For her peace of mind.
