CHAPTER 62 - DISAPPROVAL

The few months Nico asked her proved difficult as days went by. 

Every morning, Kara would wake up with a churning stomach. She would dash out of bed to rush to the bathroom to dispel the food she had eaten the night before.

It was a gross affair, staring daily at your own puke, but Nico proved handy every time. He would rush to the bathroom to follow her, to gently caress her back. 

“Get out!” She told him the first time, but Nico was as obstinate as she was.  

He never left her side on these crucial mornings.  

Even when she pierced him with her sharp gaze, he was adamant.  Kara realized it was actually better not to argue and let him have his way for her peace of mind. 

If Nico wanted to help her, then she would let him.
