Chapter 3

"What are you doing here?" He inquired staring right into her eyes.

"Hmm, I came here to see if the room had been cleaned up just as I ordered. You know my sis is not around now. So." The statement completed itself.

"Yeah, I already know. But I told you to stay away from here. And I reckon that maid already did that a long time ago so what are you doing here?" He noted.

Helena knew exactly what he was asking for Now. He wanted to know the exact reason that she was there.

And as the Cunning lady that she already was, she began to search through her head for the Perfect lie that she was going to tell her.

But With his presence, his Aura, scent, and mate Bond all combined, she could hardly breathe as he walked over to him gradually.

The only thing that she wanted now was him. To be one With him and to be marked by him.

She began to Walk towards him gradually and sexually. She touched her as her hands ran through his print.

But before she could tell, he pushed her hands away from his body and shot a sneer at her.

"And I thought that I already told you to stop all this Drama of yours right?" The Words sprouted out from his mind.

"But I want you and I can hardly breathe when you are around me." He announced.

"And you realize that I already have a mate right? A caring one at that. So you should better get a hold of yourself else, I might have to throw you out from this pack When I feel it getting way too much for me to bear." He shot and I got the message immediately.

She pulled away from him and she bowed her head slightly.

"I am sorry about that Alpha Gerald and I promise you that it's not going to repeat itself," Helena assured the Alpha and he sighed.

"No, if you don't mind, I have important things to Do." He noted gesturing to the door With his eyes. He gestured to the door.

Helena understood and she Walked out of the room.

When she walked away, Alpha Gerald heard his phone beeping and he got it from his pocket almost immediately.

"Who could that be?" The thoughts rang in his head.

He looked at the caller ID and he noticed that it was Bella, Willow's grandmother.

"Good day, Alpha Gerald." She greeted him first.

"Good day to you too. How is Willow?" He inquired

He usually called everyone to inquire but today, he was really busy and he could not do that.

"I was about to ask that too." She returned.

The words got him confused because the last time, he thought that Willow was with her and not the other way around.

"I understand what's going on. Is there anything wrong that I am being told about?" He Inquired.

"She left this morning. She was supposed to tell you something really important and From what I know, she was supposed to be in the pack like two hours ago."

"But I have been trying to reach out to her but it has not been going through. So I decided to reach out to you instead" She added.

"I haven't seen her yet. But Maybe there is a traffic jam on the way or something." Alpha Gerald returns.

"Let's Hope that she gets home as soon as possible." He announced.

The call ended but Gerald was really worried. He could never think of anything happening to his mate.

"Nothing can ever happen to her." He said in between his breaths.

At least, that was what he thought until evening and she was still not around.

Now, he was really worried and he paced up and down in the room, dialing her contacts at regular intervals.

"What could be wrong Willow? Can you please just pick me up and tell me that you are okay?

Willow opened her eyes slowly for a while, she could still feel the pain that continued to boil in the deepest part of the side of her chest.

She tried to get up slowly from the bed but she fell back to it.

"Where am I?" The thoughts rang in her head.

She heard a cracking sound from the door and she turned around to see who it was. It was a man on a white apron, most probably a Doctor but the doctors from the wolf pack all go with green aprons.

She tried as hard as she could to remember what had happened to her and how she got there but no matter how hard she tried to do this, she could not.

She could only hear voices in her head, she Heard Moans, she Heard someone crying and then, the fast patter of feet but yet, nothing came back to her.

She sighed deeply as fresh tears poured down from the corners of her eyes.

"Good day ma'am, I can see that you are going fine." He returned to her as he walked to her and he felt her pulse.

"In no time, you will be out of the place. Thank god that you were brought here right in time." He explained to her but she still could not understand a single word of what he was saying to her.

"How did I come here?" The words came out of her mouth like someone that was trying to learn a new language.

"You were hit by a car. Don't you remember that?" He inquired.

"No, I don't even remember how I got here." She explained to the doctor.

"I guess you hitting your head on the door caused a lot more trouble than we thought that it would." He noted.

"But there is good news that might help you regain your memory. After the last X-ray, we noticed that your children are kicking fine and normally, as though they have a separate life of their own which is weird. We thought that the accident with its gravity was going to cause some sort of complication but it did."

"I have to say that you are a really strong lady but apart from that, you children, they are really special." He explained to her but she did not spit out a single Word from her mouth.

She felt her stomach for a while and fresh tears poured down from her eyes. A stream of hot bitter tears.

She remembered everything now and it was more like a fresh wound in her heart.

She wished that she never remembered anything about it. She wished that her past were right where it was.

"Are you okay madam?" The doctor inquired. "Or is there something that you want to talk to us about? A case of abuse? We will be happy to help you out." He noted.

But she shifted the tears away from her eyes With the back of her palms and she sniffed.

"Not at all, I am very fine." She noted.

"Okay. If you say so." The Doctor returned.
