Alexis caught a glimpse of someone stomping off angrily and pushed Copeland away before their lips touched. Was that Ray she saw? Impossible. That first day, they'd walked into the dining room and the second he'd seen Copeland he'd kissed Alexis. Claiming her in front of his partner and employees. As they went from one shop to the next, Marj chatted nonstop. She was excited about surprising Henry and how he would react. Alexis wondered if she thought about how angry he might be if it turned out that he didn't really want a party. Or maybe he'd just get drunk and forget everything. Either way, it was a bad idea considering the amount of people Marj invited. The idiot had twitted that she was throwing her boyfriend a party and that her followers were all invited. Her car was only a few steps away and with each step she took, her heartbeat accelerated. Why was she acting like that? Spinning around she looked from car to car. No one was there. She was alone.
