080 - Nightmare

Aria stared at the phone in her hand for a while longer after the call with Lola had ended before letting it drop.

Bang!.

The mobile phone which was intact and functioning well enough less than two seconds ago now lay shattered on the floor with its screen cracked in too many places.

Aria’s expression was calm as she stared at the broken object which she had destroyed herself. It was a new phone and was less than a month old but now it was no longer useable.

“A pity...” She mumbled as she got up from the bed to pick up the phone from the floor. She took out the sim from the phone before disposing it directly into the trash can. Next, she walked up to the dressing table where two newly bought tickets lay. They were the tickets she had gotten earlier in the day excitedly to go to watch the Get Lit dancers perform with Lola.

Aria smiled sadly as she picked them up and ran her fingers over the letterings before tearing up the tickets into pieces and disposing them directly into the trash
